Class 10 Science Chapter 11: Electricity

  • Never swap charge with current in formulas.

  • Mistake: Putting a voltmeter in series to measure voltage. Better: Always connect voltmeter in parallel across the component.
  • Mistake: Leaving out units in final answer. Better: Write units such as A, V, C, J with each numerical answer.
  • Mistake: Assuming switch position does not affect circuit. Better: Always check whether circuit is closed before calculating current.
